Remember: every day should be GivingTuesday

There’s a lot of mystique associated with GivingTuesday. It's definitely a big day. A great many organizations rightly mobilize their teams around it with a goal to be ready for people with the means to give.

The reality, however, is that planning for GivingTuesday should be like planning for every other day of the year. Just like driving your car to work every day is the same as driving your car to work on the day you will be promoted. What’s different is the special outcome, not the task.

The trick in nonprofit fundraising is to flip the formula: make planning for every day of fundraising as important and meaningful as planning for GivingTuesday.
