Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!

We honor all moms today: the single moms, the working moms, the stay-at-home moms, the pet moms, the new moms, the stepmoms, the grandmoms, the mothers-in-law, the surrogate moms, the adopted moms, the mother figures, the foster moms, and every other type of mom. Thank you for all you do.

For the occasion, we asked our coworkers to share a few words honoring the mothers in their lives.

Motherhood is an unparalleled journey, where you pour out every ounce of your energy and time for your child, often feeling depleted. Yet, in an instant, their laughter and embrace replenish you with boundless love and unwavering strength to ensure their happiness and safety. They're my motivation to keep getting better every day, showing them how to face fears and doubts head-on.

Danielle, as Mother's Day approaches, I find myself in awe of the incredible journey we've embarked on. Starting the year off with a wedding and now soon to become parents for the first time is a testament to our love and commitment. You have filled our home with excitement and anticipation. Today, I honor not only the amazing woman you are, but the extraordinary mother you're destined to be. Happy Mother's Day!

Mother’s Day is a favorite opportunity to honor my wife, Jane, who has, for nearly 25 years, boosted my life’s highest highs and those of our two amazing sons. We would be nowhere without you. Separately, and just as importantly, my mother, Blanche, passed away unexpectedly in 2014, about a week after Mother's Day. That added new depth to this day of maternal remembrance, tying a celebration of all moms to the emotional turbulence of the loss of my own. Seen another way, though, Mother’s Day counterbalances the sad memory. It refreshes a sense of my mom's presence and love, both of which were powerful forces while she lived. That force of presence and love remains a benison in her absence, a baton picked up by Jane, whose own strength and affections buoy me and our boys. I love you, Jane and mom.

The more life I experience, the more I’m convinced my mum is the bravest woman I know. From moving to a new country, to co-pioneering a new dog sport in the US, to thriving despite illness, she has taught me to choose my own path, get back on the horse, and –most importantly– always have a four-legged friend at my side. Love you lots Mum!

The maternal figures in my life have always been beacons of strength and love. Since losing my mom, Debbie aka "Mama Dookie," in 2016, their significance has only grown. I firmly believe that my mom's spirit lives on through these remarkable women who have nurtured and supported me, whether near or far, with grace and kindness.

My stepmom, Lisa, in particular, has filled a void I once thought would remain empty. Her unconditional love for me, my sister and my dad has surpassed any expectations I had. Her presence has been a blessing beyond measure, and for that I am forever grateful.

There's a special comfort in a mother's words of wisdom, and each "mom" in my life holds a unique place in my heart. They've collectively shaped who I am and continue to inspire me every day.

Moms rule!!

I love the person I call mom because she is caring and kind. She is supportive in good and bad times and makes me feel valued and loved.

Motherhood: the ultimate blend of challenge and beauty. It's the toughest journey I've embarked on, but oh, the love that blooms makes it all worthwhile. Experiencing it firsthand has deepened my respect and appreciation for the incredible effort mothers put into raising their children.
