Small Token Has Been Retired

On October 16th, 2020, after more than four years of helping people like you give charitable gifts on behalf of friends and loved ones, Small Token — Give Lively’s inaugural product — has been retired.

Although Small Token was a groundbreaking tool when first introduced, times have changed, and fundraising technology, donation best practices and industry expectations have shifted too.

But we remain committed to helping people give in honor or memory of someone. That's why we are proud to have added to our full fundraising platform a new, much-requested dedication functionality that will allow donors to make donations in honor or in memory of someone directly on our nonprofit members’ donation pages.

If you've come to this page because you wanted to make (or have recently made) a gift or create a registry, here's what you need to know:

  • You can no longer create new Small Token gifts or registries.
  • If you scheduled a gift through Small Token, it will be delivered as planned.
  • If you set up a recurring monthly gift that passes through Small Token, we’ll make sure it continues without any action on your part.
  • If you set up a Small Token registry will you need to find a new solution. All registries have been retired.
  • If you are looking to make a gift in honor of someone you care about, we suggest donating to some wonderful causes, like Malala Fund or Every Mother Counts, both of which use our fundraising platform to process donations and use our new dedication feature.

Even as we say goodbye to our beloved Small Token, an important milestone in Give Lively’s growth, we are excited to provide nonprofits you care about a fantastic platform for raising more money to satisfy their missions without sacrificing their means.

If you have any questions about Small Token, Give Lively or the technical aspects of our products, please reach out to support@givelively.org.

Sincerely,
The Give Lively Team
