Established in 1998, Cabrini Mission Foundation exists to respond to society’s needs by supporting programs of healing, teaching and caring sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the international religious order founded by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini (Mother Cabrini) in 1880.
Cabrini Mission Foundation fosters the legacy of Mother Cabrini and her lifelong commitment to the dignity, development and empowerment of all people. The foundation provides healthcare, education and social services through the Missionary Sisters’ Guadalupe Province, that’s focus includes ministries in Australia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and the United States.
Cabrini Mission Foundation’s online fundraising efforts are supported by several Give Lively products, including Text-to-Donate and Campaign Pages with an associated Event Ticketing page.
Text-to-Donate and Live Display in action at an event
For their September 2025 Gala, Cabrini Mission Foundation used a Give Lively-powered Campaign Page with an associated Text-to-Donate text code to collect donations during the paddle raise portion of the event. The campaign’s Live Display page was projected on a screen during the event, showing donations made in nearly real time.
In previous years, the Cabrini Mission Foundation fundraising team struggled with the logistics of collecting gifts during the gala. They either manually entered card information into a tablet during the event or followed up with donors post-gala, which sometimes resulted in lost pledges.
In 2025, however, the donation process was streamlined for event attendees via Text-to-Donate, which made it easier for both donors and the fundraising team. Nearly every pledge was fulfilled on the spot, and the paddle raise was the most successful in gala history to date.
Give Lively’s powerful fundraising tools were not the only new technology Cabrini Mission Foundation used during the 2025 gala; the Foundation also projected a QR code that enabled cryptocurrency donations via The Giving Block, a fellow values-led organization that can be used alongside Give Lively, which offers an all-in-one solution for non-cash asset charitable giving. Event Ticketing page linked to the Campaign Page
Cabrini Mission Foundation used a Give Lively-powered Event Ticketing page with custom ticket tiers for everything from individual tickets to entire tables. The page also offered tiers for event sponsorships, ranging from “Quarter Screen E-Journal Ads” to “Full Screen E-Journal Ads” and more.

Campaign Page where all proceeds are tallied
During the event, Cabrini Mission Foundation also added offline donations (check or cash contributions) to the Campaign Page, ensuring the Live Display accurately reflected donors’ generosity. All donations can be reflected on Give Lively-powered Campaign Pages and the associated Live Display, including Text-to-Donate contributions and Event Ticketing purchases and manually entered offline donations.
The Cabrini Mission Foundation Gala 2025 was located close to Mike Spadaro, our Senior Account Manager (Memberships), so he attended in support of the Cabrini team. Although geography and calendar can be challenges, we love participating in events when possible to celebrate our member nonprofits in action!
