How do I change a recurring donation to a one-time contribution?

To make this change, you need to cancel the recurrence.

You have direct access to a secure User Portal through which you can do this. You are also able to update payment methods. (Functionality for editing the amount and date of recurring donations is coming soon.)

If you already have a User Portal account and wish to cancel your recurring donation, follow these instructions.

If you do not have a User Portal account, learn what and where the Give Lively User Portal is and how to set up a user account through which you will be able to manage this and other actions.

In addition to this, the nonprofit to which you donated also has the ability to cancel your recurring donation. You must reach out directly to the nonprofit to make the change. They can cancel your recurring donation through their Stripe account. In your email to them, you can send them this link to our Resource Hub article which contains instructions about how to complete the requested action: https://resources.givelivey.org/articles/cancel-a-donors-monthly-donation-or-subscription.

Give Lively doesn't have access to information or data that will help you resolve this issue. While we power the platform through which our nonprofit members can fundraise, our data privacy and security controls don’t allow us to issue refunds on their behalf.
