In Stripe you can view reports and download CSVs of useful donation transaction data for your accounting purposes. If you're logged into your Stripe account you can click on this link to be taken to those reports automatically.
You can use Stripe's instructions for filtering and editing that report before exporting it as a CSV here: https://support.stripe.com/questions/exporting-payment-data
IMPORTANT:Â Remember that donors are able to provide tips to Give Lively. Those tips are reflected in each donor's personal Stripe donation page as an "Application Fee."Â This is Stripe's word choice for donor tips to Give Lively. Any funds shown under "Application Fee" are not funds sent to your nonprofit.
Here are some Stripe fields that may be affected by donor tips data:
- ‍gross_amount_to_nonprofit - the amount shown in this field does not include donor tips to Give Lively. It also does not include Stripe transaction fees taken from donations made to your nonprofit
- ‍gross_tip_to_give_lively - tips your donors have sent Give Lively. These funds are not sent to your nonprofit account
- ‍net_tip_to_give_lively - the amount of money in tips Give Lively received from your donors after Stripe's transaction fees. These funds are not sent to your nonprofit account
