LitWorld

LitWorld’s mission is to strengthen kids and communities through the power of stories. Its small core team supports outreach to 700,000 children and community leaders in over 25 countries, in part through our Campaign Page’s streamlined Default Template -- an easy-to-use design showcasing logo, mission statement and customized preset donation amounts. At the time of writing, this Spring Campaign 2020 has raised $40,000+.

Little Lights Urban Ministries

Little Lights supports under-served youth and families in Washington, D.C., through practical assistance, racial reconciliation and the love of Christ. The small team shares inspirational program details on our Campaign Pages via the Story Template’s animated graphics, embedded video and other brand-aligned imagery. This COVID-motivated swift response campaign was set up for Giving Tuesday Now 2020 and shattered the fundraising goal of $100,000.

Green Beetz

Green Beetz empowers elementary and middle school students in NYC to make healthy and sustainable food choices. Its small team packs a big, nutritious fundraising punch using compelling image-accompanied “impact stories” (about the positive effect of each customized, preset donation amount) available on the Story Template of our Campaign Pages. This campaign added to the $80,000+ Green Beetz has raised using Give Lively technology.

The OUT Foundation

The OUT Foundation is dedicated to nurturing, empowering and celebrating LGBTQ+ bodies and minds. Its small team is the muscle behind several nationwide programs. This Campaign Page uses the multimedia Story Template to promote, host and fundraise alongside a livestreamed event -- with a prominently embedded page-top video. The $5,000 Out-a-Thon campaign goal added to the $390,000+ raised thus far through Give Lively.

The Peace Studio

The Peace Studio supports, trains and unites artists, journalists and storytellers to inspire people everywhere to become active peacebuilders. Its website’s donation page showcases the effectiveness of a Branded Donation Widget, an embedded tool allowing for donations right from the website. Previously, a fully enabled branded widget (see left) of its Ambassador’s Circle campaign page handled $16,000+ of nearly $27,000 raised by the campaign.

Tenement Museum

The Tenement Museum in NYC fosters a society that embraces and values the role of immigration in the American identity. The museum’s small core team showcases how the Simple Donation Widget, a streamlined embedded donation tool, allows donors to contribute without leaving its website. Its donation web page widget has managed $23,000+, part of the $680,000+ processed for the museum by Give Lively.

Malala Fund

Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai founded Malala Fund to champion every girl’s right to 12 years of free, safe, quality education. On several of its web pages, the internationally renowned nonprofit leverages the Simple Donation Widget, our streamlined embedded donation tool allowing donors to contribute without leaving a website. Their donation web page widget alone has processed more than $450,000.

The New York Women’s Foundation

The New York Women’s Foundation creates an equitable and just future for women and families through community-led solutions across NYC. The small core staff uses Text-to-Donate, our mobile-first method for capturing contributions, at (live and virtual) events like their annual Celebrating Women Breakfast, where printed materials and our Live Display encourage contributions by texting a special code to 44321. In 2019, this event raised nearly $1.75 million.

Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen

As New York’s largest soup kitchen, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen feeds, comforts, seeks justice for, and provides hope and opportunity to those in need. The motivated team uses social media and food influencers to help propel its fundraising efforts, showcasing Text-to-Donate, our mobile-first method for capturing contributions when donors are on the go. This Instagram post features a text code alongside details about mission and impact.

1% for the Planet

1% for the Planet inspires action and commitment so that our planet and future generations thrive. This big-impact nonprofit ($268 million provided to environmental nonprofits) uses Text-to-Donate, our mobile-first donation product, to capture contributions when donors are on the go. On its website’s donation page, it reminds prospective benefactors to "Pick up your phone and text ‘Planet' to 44321. It’s that easy.” Because it really is.

Wikimedia Foundation

The Wikimedia Foundation, which hosts Wikipedia, seeks to protect the values and policies that allow free knowledge to thrive. Its deployment of our Event Ticketing page's multimedia, what/where/when and sharing features, customizable ticket categories and tiers, and behind-the-scenes ticket-management tools for this seasonal virtual event brought in nearly $60,000 of the $375,000+ collected by the Wikipedia Fall Fundraiser: A Virtual Gathering campaign.

Tribeca Film Institute

In 2001, the Tribeca Film Institute began championing storytellers as catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. Its 2019 Fall Benefit made exemplary use of our Event Ticketing page’s multimedia, what/where/when and sharing features, customizable ticket categories and tiers, and behind-the-scenes ticket-management tools. This high-profile, celebrity-hosted event raised $165,000+ for identifying and empowering exceptional filmmakers and media artists.

The Laundromat Project

The Laundromat Project is a Black-rooted, People of Color-centered organization that partners with artists and neighbors working to create change in their own community through the power of creativity. In 2020, to support its Brooklyn community hub, its annual People-Powered Challenge inspired 40 individual fundraisers, each with a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising page, to raise $65,000+ from almost 800 donations, 65% more than the $40,000 goal.

MEDLIFE

MEDLIFE partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education and community development projects. To provide relief for vulnerable families impacted by COVID-19, the Moving Mountains campaign motivated 3,200+ fundraisers, each with an individual Peer-to-Peer Fundraising page, to collect 12,000+ mostly small donations from family, friends and colleagues for a total of more than $430,000.

Little Lights Urban Ministries

Kay Kim’s Fundraiser exceeded her personal $15,000 goal, part of a $50,000+ team effort boosting the COVID-motivated Giving Tuesday Now 2020 campaign to $125,000+.

MaxLove Project

MaxLove Project aims to increase the quality of life and reduce health risks for all children surviving cancer, both in treatment and beyond. This coordinated Team Fundraising initiative currently includes 35+ teams, like Team #LiveLikeLiv, with fundraising pages elevating MaxLove Project’s goals. At the time of writing, this multi-team effort had raised $108,000+ of nearly $300,000+ netted by the Farm to Fork 2020 campaign.

Luv Michael Co.

Luv Michael was founded to provide meaningful employment and on-the-job training to autistic adults. In this Team Fundraising undertaking, Luv Michael's small staff/volunteers raised funds to keep producing and selling high-quality granola during the coronavirus slowdown, while volunteers earned community service hours advocating for autism acceptance. At the time of writing, the team was more than halfway to its campaign goal of $100,000.

Brigade Boys & Girls Club

Brigade Boys and Girls Club, in North Carolina, inspires and enables young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. In this ambitious Team Fundraising initiative, the small staff divided 66 individual fundraisers into ‘vocational teams' supporting the career goals of 16 aspiring young people, with this Leaderboard to rank them. They collectively raised $125,000+, smashing the goal of $100,000.
